Stephanie is a geologist at the Donlin Gold project in southwest Alaska, an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Alaska, and an Adjunct Research Associate at James Cook University in Queensland, Australia. For the past 17 years she has worked in exploration and mining for commodities including gold, silver, copper, and zinc in Alaska, Canada, Mexico, and Peru.

Stephanie enjoys traveling for fun with family and for work. She has visited every continent and has participated in geological field trips to remote destinations including Antarctica, Easter Island, and Kamchatka, Russia. She holds a BS degree in Geology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, a MS degree in Geology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a PhD in Economic Geology from James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland, Australia.
